What is the difference between removing a task from a project and deleting a task from a project? How do I recover a task in both scenarios?

This is a great question! When you remove a task from a project, it’ll be visible in other projects it was added and you’ll still be able to find it when you search in Asana.
When you delete a task, it won’t be visible in the projects and you’ll be able to restore it in the Deleted Items view.

Hello @Emily_Roman, thank you very much for the information, It is indeed useful. I have an additional question. When you remove a tag (not delete it), and that task was not part of another project, is there any way to find it again?

Happy to help @JeanPierre_LeGuillou! In regards with your question, if you remove the tag, you’ll be able to find the task searching by its name. Alternatively, if you use the advanced search feature, you can run a search by task creator or collaborators, to be more specific.
