Remove "Sent via Asana" from emails sent via Gmail & Outlook rules

Hi,

I am a new user of Asana. I am building a form that our customer will fill out for requests. I added a rule wherein it will send a confirmation email via Gmail. So, the rule is like when the task is moved to a section called “Onboarding” it will send an email via Gmail. I have no issues with the email, I received one on the email I set in the rule. My problem is that there is a link at the bottom of the email that contain the Asana link. “Sent via Asana: https://app.asana.com/0/1207282833597452/1208097506853378.” and I want this to be disabled. Is there an option for me to untick?

Hoping for your help.

Thanks!

Hi @Maric_Villaseñor , I believe it isn’t currently possible to remove these from emails sent from Asana.

I have moved this topic into the Product Feedback so that you and others can vote on it. I have also modified the title for better searchability.

I’ve voted, don’t forget to vote using the purple button in the top left of this thread.

FYI, for those interested, our Flowsana Send an email rule action doesn’t include any footers - only the information you choose to send.

I agree! It can be confusing for clients and can be perceived as Spam for those not familiar with this application. I hope they can fix this! Such a bummer!

Yes, I also voted. LOVE the auto email feature but this is confusing to the email recipients.

Voted as well and would love to see this feature added! We are hoping to use this to send customer satisfaction surveys!

This smells like an old and annoying growth tactic like Apple with “sent from an iPhone” back in the day. I hate it.

Agree. I voted when I first saw this and hope others do too. Click the title to scroll to the top and vote by clicking the purple Vote button; that’s the quickest and most effective way to express your support for a request.

I also agree!

Btw, I added ‘Outlook’ in the title, too. Hope you all don’t mind.
