How to Reautheticate Outlook in Asana - Need to send asana tasks out as emails

Hey! I had an issue where the email rule wouldnt run and the email would sit in my drafts with missing asana task names and description.
I tried to"Deauthorize" outlook but cant seem to be able to add it back to try the rule again

Hi @Pallavi_Deshmukh , did you try removing the app from the project itself? (from the Customize button > Apps)

Hey thanks! that worked.
I’m seeing a “Bad Email Id” error now even though my email ids are correct in the rule.
Any though there?

Hey Richard - that issue seems to have sorted itself out.
I do have a question though - the asana outlook connect - seems to skip sending emails once in a while… is it an api issue on asana’s end or outlook? like if a task/project comes in , it is supposed to send me and few folks email via outlook but it doesnt for a few hours and suddenly sends it out

Hi @Pallavi_Deshmukh , I’m not entirely sure about that, sorry.

From my own experience, I just know that it does have some sort of a limit on how soon/frequently it can send emails (an anti-spam countermeasure…?), so that could be linked to your issue, perhaps.
