Hello! I have a project set up with monthly recurring subtasks for multiple assignees. When I mark a task complete, it is creating the next task as usual, but when an assignee is completing the task, the recurring task doesn’t load the next due date. I haven’t experienced this issue with any other project, so not sure what could be different here.

You mean they complete the subtask or the parent task?

Richard asks an important questions. Reason:
From your post, I assume that the recurring is build on the main task -
Task A - Recrruring task when marked complete
Subtask A1
Subtask A2
Subtask A3
When you mark the task complete, the recurring feature will work as expected. A new task will be created in this format:
Task B - Recurring Task when marked complete
Subtask B1
Subtask B2
Subtask B3
If the assignee marks their subtask complete, that will not generate another subtask.
This is normal behaviour.
If you want each subtask to be recurring in its own entity, you have to make sure they are recurring as well.

Hi @Richard_Sather, thank you! The parent task is really just a title, and the subtasks are the recurring tasks that they are completing. The parent task doesn’t have a due date, just the subsequent subtasks which are set to recur monthly.

I believe @Rashad_Issa has addressed your issue and explained the expected behaviour.
I would suggest you consider have the parent task recurring instead of the subtasks, if that can work for your use case.

It the subtask is just a title:
Either: Make the title task a recurring one and all subtasks populate automatically.
Or
Remove the title task - create a custom field with the categorisation you have
Move all your subtasks to become a main task and make them recurring.
I believe with of these options would help.
