I would like to manage a large number of recurring tasks in Asana and when a task recurrence is due, have a task reminder message sent to a Slack channel such that all the Slack channel members see the reminder message. Ideally, this reminder message would continue to be sent (daily, etc.) until the task is marked as completed in Asana (but if it only happens once that is fine). Is this something Asana can currently do without a 3rd party middleman (e.g., IFTTT, Zapier, etc.)?

With our Slack & Asana integration, you can create Rules to notify your Slack channel as a result of multiple triggers, for example, if the Due Date is approaching! You can see more on this here:
It’s important to note that these custom Rules are available only with the Business tier.
