Is there a way to recover a deleted team, and/or all the projects/task from that delete team?

I’m 95% sure this isn’t possible. The only suggestion I have is to contact Asana and see if they can restore from a backup or something.
If you want to delete a team, it’s a good idea to move the old archived projects to another team so you can always access them if needed.
And remember, archiving projects is a great way of cleaning up your account without getting rid of projects as they can always be recovered later.

Actually, I contacted Support, and they were able to find and restore my team, which had been deleted over a year ago. And they did it on a Sunday, and all within a few hours of my initial request. They were great.
