Reassigning tasks

Hi there. We just migrated another workspace into our org. This turned the other workspace users into “guests” under our org. I’ve added them to our workspace with their new domain names - and now I’d like to delete their guest memberships, and transfer all their tasks to their new domain name memberships.

When I go to delete their guest memberships - I’m told “a new project will be created for easy access to that persons assigned tasks, containing every task visible to the project owner selected below”… Does this mean I now have to manually reassign those tasks to their new membership domain? Is there not a way to transfer task ownership once in bulk during this process?

@Ruth_Gierisch - is there a reason you can’t add their previous domain to your org? If not, I think support could merge the accounts for you. If you do go your original route, what that’s telling you is that all assigned tasks (that aren’t private) will be unassigned and placed in a project that you can give ownership of to someone. From there, they (or you) can bulk-assign tasks. It’s basically re-assigning all their tasks but with an added manual step.
