Problem with login after surname change

Maybe someone can help us to solve problem. After wedding, my colleague changed the surname. We also update those information on our google account but after that she can’t log in to asana. She can’t log in using google account due to “mail is not associated with any account” but when she try to use old mail address then she got message: incorrect login/pass. is any way to change email and keep old tasks and projects or we need to remove old account and invite her again using new mail ?
