I recently discovered that I can choose which tab opens up when I click on a team. You can do this by right clicking on a tab (example: Overview or All Work or Messages, etc) and choosing “set as default”.
I tried this. I clicked on TEAM A, right clicked “All Work” and clicked “Set as Default.”
Problem:
But then I clicked on TEAM B. And when clicked on TEAM B, I saw the “All Work” tab for TEAM A. Put another way, I could see all of the projects for TEAM A, when I clicked on TEAM B.
Can someone please test this out to see if this is happening to you?
Try setting the default tab for 3-4 teams to “All Work”. And then click on each TEAM and see if you are seeing the same “All Work” tab for a single TEAM.
Note: This is happening on both Asana Desktop and Asana Web.
@Jason_Woods Thanks for checking. I would say I’ll try restarting the app, but this is happening on Asana web as well. I’ll dig around support section of the sight to see what kind of support I can get here.
Just to show images of what I’m talking about, see below. I created a project called “Test Project @ Jason Woods”. As you can see, it is showing up in several different Teams: (1) ABC (2) Church (3) Random, etc.
I just submitted a form using option #2 shown in the below link and referenced our communication on this post. Happy to go down a different route if needed. Appreciate you digging into this!
No problems… It seems it is consistent as soon as you set more that 1 team to a certain default view, and if you click between those teams you will only see the view for 1 of those teams.
If you click on a team without a default view it will reset and then the same will reoccur when you click on the next team with a default view.
We have also encountered this “Team A” projects showing up in “Team B” tab bug in other instances, too. We just hit “Command + R” and it refreshes to the proper view - but this shouldn’t be necessary.
