Priority view default task section

I noticed that when using priority view, whatever section I was working on (today, upcoming, later) is where a new task gets created. How do I make it so any new task goes up top in the “new tasks” section no matter what, so I can sort it accordingly?

As long as you don’t pre-organize a task into a priority section, it should appear at the top of your New Tasks section at the top of your My Tasks page. If this isn’t happening, then I recommend using the Add Task button in the top left corner of your My Tasks page for good measure.
