Could there be an option to save the project calendar to PDF and/or print the calendar view?
The current print view doesn’t look great. Any plans to enhance how it looks?

To echo the post from Jan '16. We are considering using Asana as a calendar for our Executive team, but we need the option to print multiple months (or a whole year) at a time as a PDF. We also need the color tags to print so the calendar is color coded. Is this something that Asana is working on? We like how the calendar looks on mobile and think we have figured out a good way to manage it as a project. Our only hang up is the way the calendar prints because we do have executives who like a printed copy.

Seems this has been a previous request over the years, but why can we not print or export a PDF of the calendar view with all the pretty colors that you’ve made available with the exact formatting?

Hi @meryl.devulder and thanks for reaching out. While it is already possible to print calendars, you’re completely right, the formatting does look as good in prints as it does in Asana itself. We already have a #productfeedback thread on this topic, so I’ve gone ahead and merged your post with the main thread to consolidate feedback. Unfortunately I don’t have any update on this topic at the moment, but I’ll make sure to keep you posted here as soon as I do!

How can you print the Editorial Calendar (In calendar view) in color?

Thank you for reaching out, Pamela! At this time it is not possible to print the Calendar view in colour, and I’m sorry for the inconvenience.
We already have a #productfeedback thread on this topic, so I have merged your post with the main thread. Please feel free to add your vote to this main thread since votes currently don’t carry over when merging threads!
This absolutely has to be incorporated into Asana features! I’ve now created a calendar based on the layout you have provided within the program but am not able to share with our stakeholders in PDF format!

I have to be able to print out calendars in color for the president of our company and other members of our leadership team. The current formatting for print is horrible! It appears that this has been a complaint since 2018 so why is it still an issue and when might it be fixed?

Please fix the printing capabilities on Calendar view as well. Screenshots of the app view vs. the printed view below.
I need to be able to print a calendar view that shows the calendar view just as it is in the app. But when I print, it removes all of the coloring.

Oh dang… this has been 6 years without any real movement…
Unfortunately, this is turning into a critical use case for us.
Need to be able to print and hang these schedules up on construction job sites…
I so love Asana… but unfortunately its becoming clearer and clearer its best suited to a strictly digital environment. Not great as I am trying to build it out for a construction company that will continue to require physical printouts into the foreseeable future.
Its important for a physical schedule to be visible by anyone who visits the job site (not just my users).

Hi, I’m new to asana. When I try to save the calendar as PDF or print the calendar, the appearance is a generic calendar. Not using the color coded feature I see and use on-screen. I / DO/ have a personal account. Please advise.
