Our team uses Asana forms. We collect information in the description field of the tasks created by the form. We need to collate and summarise the information, but unfortunately, when exporting to csv, only the first part of the description exports, the rest is truncated. The form has about 120 questions, so a lot of information is not exported. Any tips on how to get the full description to export - even if it is a lot of information
Hi @Ria1 , you should ideally map all your form questions into a custom field for each. That way each answer will be mapped into a column in your CSV, instead of all the data dumped into the description field (which gets truncated, as you have experienced). This will be far better as you will be able to extract better values of your data and compare them in charts for example, especially for drop-down / multiple choice questions.
But even if all 120 questions are text, it is still preferable to map to custom fields. Currently, you can have up to 100 custom fields in your project so you may need to trim down your questions or leave some unmapped (which will end up in the Description field). Your form can have up to 500 questions.

Hi @Ria1 , note I have edited the above. My mistake, I wrote 500 custom fields per project - it’s actually 100. (you get 500 questions per form and 500 options per single-select or multi-select fields)
