In my team we’re trying to implement the use the Asana add-in in Outlook, but we’ve recognised that for those members using the new Outook desktop app is not possible as it is not installed there. Are we doing something wrong or the new Outlook app is not suporting the newest version?
If that’s the case, I’m afraid that once Microsoft makes us switch to the new version with no other option, we won’t be able to keep using this Add-in.

Do you work in an organization? If so you’ll have to get with your IT department for them to add Asana to the New Outlook. Please forward this https://help.asana.com/s/article/enabling-permissions-for-asana-and-microsoft-integrations?language=en_US to your IT department to have them enabling the Asana Add-in within the New Outlook
I can assure you the Asana add-in in the New Outlook is supported.
