Option to turn off email notifications for others when creating project tasks

I would love a solution to this. I want to plan resource allocation over the next year, but don’t want everyone on the team to get hundreds of notifications as I assign tasks and then move the schedule around. But they still need to get notifications from their other projects.

Any progress on this? This thread dates back to JULY 2017! That’s more than 3 years! Surely the Asana staff itself has encountered this. How do they handle it?

Checking whether this has a solution yet. I have team members ready to give up Asana but they need and want project notifications for ongoing projects.
