Only show current project or team members, not all names as an overview

Hi,

When typing names of project members in a custom field, for example, all Asana users are displayed to all users of the project, even though they are not part of the project (the project is set to “private” in this case).
Is there a way to hide the suggested names of people who are irrelevant for this project or not to display them in principle?

Hi @Pavlin_Stenaj, unfortunately there isn’t a way to define which people are listed in a People field (or the Assignee field). A workaround is to create a single-select or multi-select field, listing the people you need, as dropdown options.

But this workaround depends on the use case and what you want to achieve, and why…

thank you for your feedback.
I just read the mentioned request. It was made several years ago and it is remarkable that no solution has yet been found or that the option has at least been set up for the custom fields.
