Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing:
On samsung s4 tab with keyboard connected… I cannot edit any item. Simply if I select e.g. a task name… I cannot edit it.
If I change the orientation disabling the physical keyboard… everything is working as expected…
It looks like the issue is related to the external keyboard as you mentioned the app works normally when you disconnect/disable the keyboard. Could you please confirm if you are able to type using your keyboard in other apps or is the issue only in the Asana app?
The external keyboard is working alright.
The problem is that with the external keyboard enabled I cannot select in order to modify some text.
If I manage to select the text otherwise (e.g. by putting off the keyboard for a while and then tapping on the title with my finger)… then I can use the external keyboard to edit the content.
If the keyboard is on… tapping doesn’t have any effect.

The keyboard works perfectly in any other app.
Btw if I get focus on a Asana field (removing the keyboard, tapping with a finger and then connecting it again) it works perfectly.
But if I tap on a field either with a finger or with the spen I can’t select the field.

As it stands, we do not officially support third-party devices like the external keyboard you’re using. This doesn’t mean we won’t investigate or fix, but it means that it won’t be prioritized as quickly as something we officially support.
I completely understand this is a pain point for you, and I’m really sorry for the inconvenience. Emily and I are both closely following this is Asana, and we will make sure to keep you posted as soon as we have some updates although I can’t promise when this might be.
