New Navigation Now Available for Enterprise+

Hi Asana Community!

We’re excited to announce that the new Asana navigation experience is starting to roll out to our Enterprise and Enterprise+ customers (previously mentioned here). This update streamlines your workspace, helping you find the objects for your key jobs faster with a cleaner interface.

What’s Changing?

  • Simplified Sidebar: High-frequency views are now easier to reach

  • Modern UI: A refreshed look designed for focus and reduced clutter

Admin Control & Rollout

To help manage this transition, Enterprise/Enterprise+ admins can use the Release Preview Console to test the new navigation before a full organization-wide rollout.

Availability Timeline

  • Enterprise & Enterprise+: Available starting today! Admins can manage the cutover via the Admin Console.

  • Other Paid Tiers: General availability for all other paying domains and divisions is planned for no earlier than May 2026.

Just wish I could still somehow have starred items that show regardless of mode (e.g. projects and workload views)

Honestly, I don’t love it. If the goal was to have people use search more to find what they need, then mission accomplished.

I find myself constantly opening/expanding the entire side panel, losing screen real estate just to get to my favorites.

It doesn’t make sense why the starred repeats in every section - they should just have a ‘Starred/Favorite’ tab you can click, it expands your saved searches, projects, portfolios, etc. then when you click away it disappears. I also don’t regularly use what is in ‘Workflow’ or ‘Strategy’, so it feels like overkill. It would be nice to be able to customize “quick-launch” icons/buttons on the left-hand side so I can keep it minimized with the projects, portfolios, searches, etc. I use most commonly.
