Need solution to export "Actual time" as weekly time sheets

Hi, i’ve recently came across a client in need of time punch solution. From this we started implementing the Asana time tracking. Only to realise 2 things:
1- how to effectively generate weekly time sheet for employee. (using asana2go for now, which is not ideal)
2- the team have shared tasks such as Admin and Lunch, etc. When using the graphical report in asana, the shared task will show clocked time for everyone, so I have to srub the whole time log to find what was logged by the user. In the report screen after clickin on the user, the Admin task show the total clocked,disregarding time period and user.

Basically, I need a solution for extracting Actual time and create weekly time sheets (excel, pdf, whatever). And a way to deal with common shared task.

Did you see there is now a button to export time entries at the project level?

Are you refering to csv export. Not sure which button you are refering to… but the client doesn’t wanna play with cvs. Would u mind expanding (or screen shot) on that time export button? Maybe im half blind cause I dont see that option..

Here you go. It only appears if you use Actual time. And maybe this is not fully rolled out, we were told it should be.

I went to check a couple of clients and it doesn’t seem to be rolled out on my end.

Do we know how long it will take to finish roll out?

Is the ability to export detailed time entries as CSV more generally available now please and/or is it possible to sign up for the pilot?

Hi @AnnaPapiernik, thank you for the additional context! I checked in with our PMs, and they confirmed that the “Time entries as CSV” feature was temporarily rolled back after some bugs were detected. That’s why you’re not seeing it at the moment. I’m keeping an eye on their progress, and I’ll be sure to share an update here in the Forum as soon as there’s a new ETA for full release. Apologies for the inconvenience in the meantime!

Exporting Time Entries

Hi Everyone, I am trying to export time entries for several of my Asana projects. However, when selecting Sync/Export from the project drop-down menu, I am not seeing Time entries as CSV as an option. Any tips on how to make this option appear? Does it have to do with the Asana plan level? My organization is currently subscribed to the Asana Advanced plan.

From what I’m seeing as planned, time tracking export should be up and running next Monday.
