My team is complaining on too many notifications

I’m moving my team to Asana this week, and right from the start they were alarmed by the notification number on the badge, rightfully. They just joined 30 min before


I don’t know how it grew to such a number in half an hour, I have just made a few changes, and only 7 of them included the team member who sent me this screenshot, and it is very important to me that the experience will be smooth and easy. Can I set their notifications settings as an Admin, or do I really need to check with each one if their notifications settings are moderate?

If the team members are added to projects you can select what sort of notifications they should get.
