Whenever we’re in the My Task Calendar View (weekly view) our team is all seeing some really weird clipping off of the top of the task pane! We can’t see the complete button, 3 dot menu, etc.
We’ve had the bug for a few days now. I thought if others were having this issue it’d be such a major issue that it’d have prioritized and quickly resolved by Asana. So maybe it’s just our own Asana instance? Our team lives day to day in the My Tasks Calendar weekly calendar view – so for us this is super disruptive!
The task pane DOES appear normal in all the other project views and My Task views. So we can still work, complete tasks, etc – but we have to switch to that specific project in order to view the task complete button or 3 dot menu.
My primary machine is running Chrome Version 117.0.5938.149 but this bug seems more related to our Asana instance. We’re on the Business Plan.
Try these troubleshooting steps first, then please 1) see if someone from Asana replies here, or 2) To create a support ticket, go to Asana Support - Help Center • Asana (make sure you are logged in to Asana) > click the chat icon at the bottom right > type “speak to an agent” > click “Yes” > click “Something Else” > click “Create a support ticket.”
Thanks @anon91170507 and @lpb for the tips! Turns out it was actually the Everhour chrome extension, required for using Everhour in Asana causing the bug. Nasty trade off because we do need Everhour.
My agency is in the same “nasty trade off” boat, as we have exactly the same issue and need Everhour to track our work. I’ve sent Everhour a message about it. Will update this chat when get back to me.
I’m pleased to say that this issue is now fixed. I contacted Everhour, who were very responsive and issued a fix to the browser extension last night. Great work from them getting it done quickly and communicating with us well.
