Multi-home parent and child tasks

Hi,
Can multi-homed tasks be one way? Meaning that I have a parent project that I want tasks to be present in another project as read only. I don’t want the users of the child project to manipulate data in the parent.

Hi @anon34395106,

If you multi-home a task into Project B, and that project is specified as Private to members, and the default project access or explicit project member access is set to Commenter, and the users are not Assignees of the tasks, then they won’t be able to modify the tasks.

That will work but I am wondering if there is a method without verifying the priv class of each user…
