Moving tasks due today, instantly to my Today section in My Tasks

Before rules matured, whenever I changed my task due date to today it would move to my Today section instantly. Now I believe it won’t do that until midnight (or close to it). I’m using this rule to achieve this experience (see screen shot 1).

I think a solution would be:

  • When: Due date is change
  • Check if: Due date is approaching Task is due today
  • Do this: Move task to section TODAY

Has anyone else figured out a resolution to this?

I don’t think this is currently possible with a rule, as there is no TODAY() function/variable available in the condition that checks what the due date is.

What you can do though is ditch the rules and the sections, and group the tasks by due date. :slight_smile:
