It would make Asana more convenient if the email notification that came through was more descriptive. I have multiple different project folders in asana, with many of the same tasks, so I have no idea which project folder I’m being notified about. I know its only a couple clicks away from the project folder, BUT it would be much easier! Please consider! Thanks!
Hello @Leah_Higgins
Welcome to the forum.
I understand the need. My advise to you, which I give to every asana user I work with, is to switch off asana email notification, and log into the platform every day.
Once you make that a habbit, then you can easily work with the asana inbox and my tasks features that will make you super more productive. And guess what, the asana inbox feature gives you all your navigation and action controls without needing to leave that inbox ![]()
Hope this helps a bit.

Additionally to Rashad‘s great response I am wondering whether you mean „project“ when you wrote „project folder“?
Because the project name shows in email notifications, see some screenshots also shared here.
Did you have to add anything to the task/comment messaging to show the Project name in the subject line of the email? My collaborators on the tasks would like to be able to filter the project emails by project but the project name is nowhere to be found in the email.
