Milestones in subtasks are missing the little Milestone icon

Has there been any movement on this?
I want subtasks Milestones to appear in the timelines, portfolios and reports but struggling to make it work. Any ideas?

I ma also a heavy user of milestones and subtasks. Not having the Milestone icon in the subtasks is a huge difficuty. I literally have to have my employees memorize a list of what is milestones and what is tasks to do. Presumably this isnā€™t a hard fix since itā€™s already got the right symbol in mytasks?

I just ran into exactly the same issue! Nearly one year laterā€¦seems like this isnā€™t a high priority fix for the Asana team.

How has there been no traction on this? This is such a massive shortcoming that forces really awkward workarounds in Asana.

It looks like this is resolved now. Iā€™m showing milestones as subtasks with the green diamond

What I would like to see is the single date for a milestone removed, and allow it to have a date range. Similarly, I would love to see a milestone be able to be a grouping of tasks, not subtasks. This would alleviate a lot of the limitations of using sub-tasks.
