Massive delay when updating fields in Advanced Search

My company is experiencing a massive delay with Advanced Search. For instance, if I add a Due Date to a task while reviewing the results of a saved Advanced Search, it can take up to 5 minutes, along with multiple refreshes, before the Due Date is reflected in the Advanced Search.
