Make the Side Navigation Bar Customizable

The Navigation Bar keeps changing and it is frustrating to come in every other week to have to re-learning everything. It would be ideal if users could organize the side bar the way that would be most useful for them.

For example, we cannot use AGENTS at my small org. However that is the headline that appears where WORKFLOW used to appear. I realize that WORKFLOW is hidden within it and when I open the Agents it opens to a page I cannot use. I would rather be able to see Workflow as the first thing that appears when selecting that icon NOT agents, since that is most helpful for me.

I came to the forum to see what others are saying about the exact same thing (“Workflow” renamed to “Agents”) and voted on your post. According to a response from Asana on this post in May ( Want to hide AI teammate. - #2 by Sabina_Anand ), “The AI Teammates entry point should only be visible in domains that are currently trialing or have purchased AI Teammates.” It was visible to us and I simply ignored it. Now it’s the default page that opens when I click “Agents” to try to get to my templates, forms, rules, and custom fields. We have Asana AI turned OFF at the domain level. I’m following related posts and am submitting a support ticket. At first we didn’t qualify for AI as an org. with HIPAA compliance and we still have not debuted/provided guidance to our team to begin using it as there is currently no need that outweighs our HIPAA concerns.

This might be the worst update from Asana yet. I can’t see any of the teams I had previously starred unless I search for a team…Only starred projects and saved searches now appear under my “Work” view. I lead cross functional teams so seeing updates on projects is not helpful. That’s why I spent time organizing my “work” list to prioritize teams only to have them now gone with the latest update. It’s so frustrating!

Completely agree. I didn’t even click on ‘agents’ because we don’t/can’t use them so I spent last week trying to find project templates, rules, forms, etc. It’s extremely irritating to have it change constantly.
