There will always be features users want to have.
There will always be features that some love and others hate.
I find this comment a bit sarcastic. I can’t imagine that any user would hate the fact, that multiple task can be moved as subtask.
Hey @Micha_Kuechler, this comment was in no way meant sarcastic just based on what I have seen over the years in the forum in terms of customer feedback.
For many product launches, even when you’d expect universal approval, diverse opinions often arise. The reason is that the implementation of certain features may entail changes that impact individual workflows. However, I do agree that, in the case of being able to convert multiple tasks into subtasks, this might not necessarily be applicable.
Hi Marie, I am trying to build a roadmap from another roadmap and need to convert 100 tasks to sub-tasks to be able to and this is super time consuming hence would be great to have this feature enabled as soon as possible.

Is there a way to change a task level from task to subtask easily without having to delete and recreate?
I have a bunch of tasks at the wrong level and want to move them where I need them but cant seem to figure it out. I looked at some videos but haven’t found one covering this topic.
I meant to say “in bulk” I can do them all 1 at a time but cant seem to find how to do many at once.
Convert subtasks in bulk seems to finally here! I stumbled across it today. Don’t know what release it was hiding under but i’m so glad to ave it!. Converted 6 tasks into subtasks of another task in one quick move! Thank you Asana!
How I did it:
On the list view of my project I selected my 6 tasks.
Then the floating menu bar came up at the bottom.
Clicked the 3 dots for more options
Selected ‘Convert to subtasks’
Typed in the name of the Task I want the subtasks to go under.
Then selected it from the options once it appeared.
Done
