Please consider making the dashboard tab blank by default or add an easier way to delete all the pre-built widgets.
It is time consuming to be deleting the widgets each time I create a dashboard in a portfolio or project. I never end up using the pre-built widgets and having to delete them one at a time gets cumbersome really fast 
I don’t think this request will be popular with Asana because they want to deliver some (possible) value by default and also demonstrate what’s possible with Dashboards.
But were you aware you can quickly add new Dashboards (to either a portfolio or project) and they appear empty, as you request, so you could just add a new one and delete the old one in about 15 seconds!
