Make creating custom fields from forms more intutitive

Create new custom fields from form builder

For me, the form builder is a logical and oft used starting point for thinking about what information I want to capture. This often sparks the idea for a new custom field. It’d be super handy not to have to go back and forth between the customise menu and the form builder to create new fields, and just be able to choose to make a new custom field or to turn an existing question into a linked custom field. • Better visibility for this functionality
• More intuitive and consistent interface/order of operations.

To create a field from a form one must:

1. Add a question
2. Add the question name
3. Choose the right field type
4. Choose a field name
5. Hit enter

When creating a field, the (thought) process is usually the other way round.

1. I’m creating a field, what should I call this?
2. Select the right field type
3. Create field

I think it’d be a lot more intuitive if it would be a button visible here somewhere, maybe as a small +?

So I’m thinking maybe have the button link to the normal field creation menu?

I’d find it more logical to set the question name afterward, maybe auto selecting the question name after field creation is done. (Maybe even autocopy the field name if a question name hasn’t been set yet)
