I love that we’re so flexible with what we can do with a task.
I’m often stumped though, by where to find the right conversion option.
This is how we can manipulate conversion in the task pane:
These are the options for right mouse click at board view:
List view is the same except for lacking the card image option, which makes perfect sense.
And this is the bulk-edit menu:
I’d primarily like this to be consistent across the interface, and would consider this launched if it is.
The way I’d personally like to see this implemented would be the most like in the task pane. Just go to something labeled “Convert to” or “Conversion” to do any of this and see:
- Custom task type(s)
– - Task
- Milestone
- Approval
– - Project
- Move as subtask
- Add as subtask
- Remove as subtask
Filtered of course to only show the options available. But I’d show the option if it’s available for one of the selected tasks.
