I am looking at setting this up for my team. We work with clients who also use asana. Are our clients allowed to add us into boards for free if we are already paying members for our own organisation?

Hi @Sarah_Macgregor welcome to the forum 
Yes, your client(s) can add you and your members to their project within their organisation - your organisation members will be added to their organisation as guests, meaning they won’t be charged a seat (and it will neither affect your paid seats). They will only get charged a seat if they have a workspace or a paid team (not an organisation)
