ASANA is a great kanban tool, via the Board visualization.
I’ve a suggestion (I need it and I found apptio.com that does it): split vertically the board base on ONE custom field (ex: role, status, priority, …).

This is the typical kanban view you see in other tools such as Jira. I do hope the option comes to Asana. I don’t think I would want it as default, but for more complex work, it would be nice to have the additional swim lane.

Sure. Maybe an option as filter: split by field.
It maybe available only for “single-select” field.
ps: I continue to wait a feedback for inbox filters

While this feature isn’t available right now, hopefully it’s something our Product team can implement in the future.
