Our team uses the Kanban feature and does a ton of scrolling. The cards are big, especially when there’s an image attached, and it’d be a lot easier to manage if we could shrink each card down to about a quarter of the size they currently are. Lots of the card is white space as it is.
Heh, this is going on since 2020 with no alterations… I am studying Asana to implement in my business and this was the first issue I noticed, I was hoping to find a solution but it is bad they dont care to change something so simple and so necessary
Based on community feedback, we recently launched the ability to turn on/off images in a project board view. Can you all share more about what metadata you’d like to see hidden to make them more glanceable / useable?
Hi Garrett. A new to Asana user and the Kanban options still do not reduce the size of the cards enough. Ideally, as noted in the comments, the size that are used in Trello would be more useful to allow more tasks to be viewed on screen without scrolling. Sometimes you just need a visual of a few key words rather than all the data. We can switch to List if we want more info.
This section doubles the size of a card, and is not always needed in Board view. If we could have the same option for this as we do for turning off images, that would be great. There is also this request Hide Assignee in board mode for the same thing.
I think shifting the assignee and due date to the bottom right, and having them be on the same line as custom fields or maybe even task title, whenever that fits, would already be a great improvement.
