Hello! My non-profit has an Advanced Asana license due to cost reasons. I understand that Enterprise and Enterprise+ plans allow for view-only licenses, but we do not have that Asana tier due to an inability to fit that extra cost in our budget. With only an Advanced plan in Asana, is there any way to have view only access for non-license-holders? In our org, only one department has fully adopted Asana and so there are times when project managers from our department would like to share project views with colleagues assisting in projects who do not have licenses. In SmartSheet, it seems like there are always view-only or free license options for non-paying users. I can’t figure out if we can do this in Asana without adding colleagues as Guests and I understand that Guest licenses are not intended for users in the same org - but intended to use with outside vendors/partners. Thanks for the help!
Welcome, @Jenael_Falcao,
You have sized it all up correctly, for better or worse.
There’s one option: Project actions menu > Export > Create read-only link, but that view is extremely limited in value and probably not helpful, but mentioning for completeness.
Sorry,
Larry
Hi, @Jenael_Falcao

I have heard that this can be used.

If there’s a possibility,
How about reducing the number of licenses in the current Advanced Contract by half and using the Enterprise Contract?
Because the advanced license is about half the price of the enterprise license.
It may not be exactly what you want, but
It depends on the details of your organization’s situation, so I can’t guarantee that this will apply to you.
A detailed explanation is needed separately, but I think Divisions will work.
