I am trying to share a project with a client. The issue I have is that the client has paid for licenses for Asana already - but not for the users I need to share with as they are in a different department.
They do not want to purchase additional licenses, as those users will only use Asana for the project I am working on with them.
Unless your organization is on an Enterprise plan, there’s no way for users to access Asana without a paid license. Enterprise customers do have the option for view-only seats, but those users can’t interact with projects in any way.
Asana also sells licenses in increments of five, so it’s worth double-checking whether your team has any open seats available. You may also have users who currently hold a license but don’t need one day-to-day. Those seats can be reassigned and given back later if needed.
