Asana does have a Workload function right here: View Your Team's Workload in Asana | Product Guide • Asana Product Guide

For my team, we provide Professional Service hours, so we created a custom field of “PS Hours” and I can track add effort into our Consulting Hours Portfolio.

Not sure what your use case would be, but hope this helps!
