Is everyone manually organizing their timeline?

After having built out a plan using tasks in a list l-based project, I’m looking at the timeline and it’s pretty much one task per row… which means the timeline is super tall and I can even zoom out enough to see everything.

How is everyone dealing w this? Are you manually moving tasks? Building out the tasks initially IN timeline view? Something else?

Yes, I’ve been manually moving them. I learnt my lesson the hard way after creating a very lengthy list and then went to organise the timeline. I now do a portion of the list, organise, then add more.

I’d also love to if theres a better way of doing this.

Would be really helpful if the timeline at least organised tasks by their sections!

Ah, good idea. I was thinking organizing by custom category, but section sounds good too.
