I was a beta tester in the past for Best Calendar App and Advanced Task Manager for iOS | Pocket Informant that did a nice job of using right and left swipes on a task. You might not notice but the have taken great advantage of the swipe with a carousel wheel. Such things as changing date to tomorrow and many more… One swipe that I think would be super fast for My Task category changes of Today, Upcoming and Later. This would make for quick changes in a rapid fire method. In essence proper use of both left and right swipe capability allowed almost all major functions that could be done to a tasks… Still my favorite PIM for calendar, sync to Evernote, Contacts, etc. I just migrated away from to Asana for tasks and collaboration.
