Hey developers,

You can check out the full announcement here: Dive into the new era of work with Asana AI Studio! :rocket:

In short, AI Studio enables you to build Smart workflows – rule-based automations that leverage AI to analyze and process tasks based on natural language instructions. With a no-code interface, you can set up these workflows in minutes, harnessing the power of large language models (LLMs) alongside Asana’s powerful rules engine.

As many of you know, Asana rules are a great way to automate tasks and streamline your project processes. They allow you to create automated workflows that trigger actions based on specific events, saving you time and reducing manual work.

To help you maximize this functionality, we’d like to also remind you of a few existing tools that can further enhance the capabilities of Asana rules through the API:

  • App rule actions: Build custom actions for the rule engine to help your team automate their work

  • Script actions: Create custom scripts to automate tasks and boost your project management capabilities

  • Incoming web requests: Use these to initiate actions in Asana based on external events

Additionally, we have a dedicated forum open to builders in the Early Access program. Please fill out this form if you’d like to join!

We’re excited to see how you incorporate AI Studio alongside our existing tools to create even more powerful integrations. Your insights are invaluable, so please share your thoughts and ideas on how you plan to use these features!

Happy developing,

Andrew
