Hey I am trying to install the asana app on my windows 10 PC , the installation file I downloaded is dmg file it is not opening , how can I install it

@Sarbjeet_Kaur I think you have accidentally downloaded the Apple Version not Windows. .DMG files are the apple equivalent of .exe

Double check and try and find the Windows version.

I’m having this issue too when trying to put Asana on a new hire’s computer. The button on the Download the Asana App for Mobile and Desktop • Asana page is downloading a dmg. There is no other option to download (other than iOS or Android) Also, like 95% sure this was the same button I used back in October and downloaded a windows version fine.

I’m having the same issue! I am a new hire trying to install Asana on my Windows machine but the only link on the website is downloading a dmg file.

@Kasey_Nichols @Sarbjeet_Kaur I found the download for Windows.

Here’s the one for Windows 64-bit.

I found it on the download page if you scroll all the way down to the “Still have Questions? We have answers” section. Under the question, “Does Asana have a desktop app for Mac or PC?”, it gives an answer which has Mac, Windows 64-bit, and Windows 32-bit links to the downloads themselves.

I experienced the exact same issue. Thanks to Brian for posting the correct link, but Asana web team should really update that accordingly. I think someone messed up and put the wrong download there.

Looks like the link isn’t auto-detecting OS and supplying .dmg files for all.
Thanks for the detail in where the correct link is.
