Inbox False Alert - Orange Dot not clearing away

Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing:
A co-workers orange dot never clears away, it’s constantly there. We’ve tried archiving, clearing cache, updating Chrome and tried another browser and the orange dot is still there.

I searched the community forum and found a similar issue but any suggestion in there, we tried and nothing worked.

Steps to reproduce:
We opened Asana in another browser (Firefox) and the same problem persisted.

Browser version:
Chrome Version 108.0.5359.124 (Official Build) (arm64)

Hello @Rebecca_Edwards,

I can see that currently a filter in your inbox is enabled so at the moment only @mentioned messages are showing.
Can you disable that to display all inbox messages and then archive all to see if the dot disappears.

@Andrea_Mayer is right, the filter is likely the issue here. If you remove it, you probably have notifications that were not seen yet, hence why the orange dot is still there :slight_smile:
