I get a lot of Missing information messages from AI Which I don’t know if I can turn off because they aren’t useful to me but even more so than being unhelpful it also lies.
today i got this response when i created a task from an email

Thanks — I can get quotes for all of these items, but I need a few details to make this request ready for procurement:
ASANA AI cannot get quotes for me so why does it say it, why isn’t it, ‘so that you or the colleague assigned to this task can complete it this information would be useful …’
This one was pretty obvious that AI was lying but there have been other times when it has looked like it would be something AI could do but ASANA AI can’t. This is really frustrating, if there is a way to switch that feature off please let me know. But really it would be great if it didn’t lie about its own capabilities.

Hi Arthur I wasn’t sharing a link, I didn’t no that it linked anything I copy and pasted the wording that I had issue with.
it starts in my asana inbox as a AI message stating …Check for Missing information…which i copied accidentally but I thought i’d leave it in as I assumed others get these AI checking for info messages too so it would look familiar and be understood as the AI inbox message.
The issue is with this message I pasted.

Thanks for sharing this. If the “Check for missing information” message is coming from the AI Studio prebuilt rule rather than a built-in Asana AI feature, it may be worth reviewing the prompt or disabling the rule altogether if it isn’t adding value.
You can also customize the prompt to make the wording more accurate. For example, instead of implying that the AI will complete the work, it could simply highlight the information the assignee needs to move the task forward.
