I would like to see new icons beside tasks in My Tasks to represent how many dependencies still need to be completed before your task. Something like this:
- The hourglass is red when multiple tasks in the process are not completed before your task.
- The hourglass turns yellow when only one task is not completed before your task.
- A green checkmark appears when all prior dependencies are complete and the task is ready for you.
When I am looking at my upcoming work, it is hard to anticipate what work is actually about to come my way vs. what work still has multiple other tasks to be completed first before I can do my part. Updated icons would help our team quickly anticipate and plan for their workloads. We are currently doing this manually with a single-select field, but it is not efficient to regularly update.
