I have a big screen, how to have this add-in panel always open? Thanks
That’s not possible at the moment, but certainly a good feedback for future improvements; thanks for sharing it with us!
Hi, also I have to login every day (sometimes several times…)? Do you experience the same problem?
I have received any reports in this regard, but I’ll make sure to keep an eye out! In the meantime, feel free to report the issue to our support team!
Hi, I have to login every time I use this addin, and on two different computers. I’ll make a report… Is it only me?
Microsoft explains how to do this here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/add-ins/pinnable-taskpane
“The first step is to add pinning support, which is done in the add-in manifest. This is done by adding the SupportsPinning element to the
Action element that describes the task pane button.”
Thanks for sharing @Dan_Hardy, I wasn’t aware of this option! Marking your reply as the solution
Thanks for this!
Sounds like the next step might be for the Asana development team to add pinning support in the add-in manifest. Hopefully that should be pretty simple to do
since it looks like a 1 line addition in the XML manifest file. Do you think they could do that?
I can confirm we have added this request to the list of features to be evaluated for future updates. I’m leaving this thread opened to allow other users to votre for it, and I’ll make sure to keep you posted as soon as I hava an update on this matter.
Thanks again for your help
Logs me out almost every email I write…really hurts my productivity…
Our Team is currently looking into this issue @Steven_Parker, I’ll make sure to keep you posted as soon as I have an update! Sincere apologies for the inconvenience!
Hi folks, our Team has rolled back the latest update which seemed to be causing this issue, so this should now be fixed! Marking this thread resolved, but please let me know if you have any follow-up questions!
Any update on this feature request? Would be very helpful to get people to use this add-in more–which, in turn, gets them to use Asana more.
This issue still isn’t resolved. Let me know if you’d like me to do a walkthrough with you to show what’s going on.
