How to fetch tasks into a project from all other projects based on the person assigned

Hi,

We want to pull the tasks assignee wise to their dedicated projects, so the tasks from different projects can be prioritised for a person.

Example:
Project 1 has 10 tasks assigned to Person A
Project 2 has 5 tasks assigned to Person A

Need to create a new project Tasks-PersonA
This project fetches all the tasks from different projects and adds to To-Do column. Now it is possible to sort the priority of tasks from multiple projects in a single queue for the Person A to work on.

Following!
I know the “my tasks” feature allows each user to do that, but as far as I understand, there’s no visibility for that for anyone other than the user.

My workaround is that I have a rule that adds all tasks for my team:s projects (that I’ve created and/or know about) into a master team project, which can group or filter by assignee.

Wonderful setup - could u tell us more about it? Like how did you set it up? This seems of a great help to my current workflow tho

This sound good, can you please share how did you do this?

We’re mainly working off project / task templates, and the template (adn every project that it creates) has this rule. I’ve manually added it to other projects that are not created from this template.

Within the master project, there’s a saved view where it groups by assignee (this is a fairly new feature)
