How to delete section in project without deleting completed tasks?

Here’s my experience of your steps with slight modification:

  1. Go to your Project’s list view
  2. Choose the “All tasks” view
  3. From the section you want to delete, move all tasks to the “No Section” section until the undesired section is empty.
  4. Click the three dot icon next to the section name
  5. Click delete section
  6. It should tell you 0 tasks and 0 completed tasks, and you click Yes.

Thank you so much. I never would have figured that out. I’ve been stuck with stranded sections I couldn’t delete!
