We’re using subtasks on a main task for an approval flow and assigning each approver when the previous dependency is lifted.
The “you’ve been assigned a task” email notification has many of the fields from the project, but not all of them.
It also seems to change the items included from email to email.
Is there any way to control which ones appear in the notification email?

There isn’t currently a way to control which fields appear in Asana’s assignment notification emails.
The information included is generated automatically by Asana and can vary depending on the task and notification type. If certain details are critical for approvers, consider including them in the task title or description for greater visibility.
If this level of customization would be valuable for your workflow, I’d also encourage you to submit it as a product feedback request in the Forum so the product team can consider it for future enhancements.
