Goal is to reduce the card size vertically so I can see more cards without scrolling down.
I’m trying to make my Asana board more compact so I can see more tasks without scrolling.
Each card shows icons at the bottom for assignee and due date, even when nothing is assigned. These take up vertical space and make the cards taller. I’ve attached a screenshot highlighting the area.
Things I’ve already tried:
Card size set to Small
Show card images turned off
Checked Customize → Fields
Checked Layout options
Is there a way to hide these icons completely so the card only shows the task title?
Or is this currently a limitation of Asana board view?
Good day, @Harshraj_Thakor and welcome to the Community! Like what @Lara_Demir (Welcome to the Community as well! ) said, it would help if you could send your screenshots again. But allow me still to help you with your question.
Thank you very much for your feedback, but for now, the assignee and due date icons at the bottom of board cards cannot be hidden or removed. These are built-in elements of Asana’s board view design and will display on cards even when no assignee or due date is set.
While you’ve already implemented the best available options, you could try enabling “Compact Mode” to reduce line breaks, which may improve overall density. While this won’t remove the assignee/due date icons specifically, it reduces spacing in other areas of Asana, which may improve your overall viewing experience. Here is how to enable compact mode**:**
Click your profile photo in the top bar
Select Settings > Display
Under advanced options, check Enable compact mode
Let us know if this helps. If not, we will wait for your screenshots to further assist you with your question. You could also add your vote and context by posting here so others can chime in and upvote: Product Feedback - Asana Forum Thank you, Harshraj and enjoy your Asana experience!
