I would like to hide the assignee in Board mode, as I am sometimes working on a Board by myself and the circle icon takes up a lot of space.
Absolutely! This is where Notion is getting a lot of traction. I’d love to be able to remove the assignee from the board view and change the boards width.
It seems like such a small thing, but I left Asana over this feature. There should be a way to have a Kanban-style board that shows only the task name, maximizing the number of viewable projects/tasks on screen. In case it’s helpful for others: You can do this in Todoist. From other commenters, it seems possible in Notion as well, but I haven’t confirmed it directly.
I am testing Asana for a new client and this is actually the show stopper preventing me from migrating everything from Trello to Asana.
The comments here are making me consider moving an entire organization to Notion
We are currently evaluating Notion and Asana. This feature will likely make us move to Notion as we have lots of tasks and the assignee area takes a lot of space.
Still no news on this feature?!
Same request for the calendar view. Between the assignee and all the colored squares, we can’t actually read the name of the task without opening it.
