Is anyone else experiencing a painfully slow ux with the Gmail integration? It actually takes about 15 seconds to load each screen, meaning that adding a task using it often takes me over a minute per task, which… defeats the purpose. I found myself just typing and copy/pasting into Asana directly today to save time, rather than using the integration.
Am I the only one that finds this integration completely unusable?
Interestingly, I also noticed this morning that the mobile gmail app’s integration is blazing fast, which made me want to come here and inquire. I would LOVE the value add of this integration actually working well in gmail on desktop, but that’s currently not the case.
Unfortunately, no, none of the troubleshooting methods in that link helped. To be clear, I have no issues navigating Asana the web app - all of my issues are with the impossibly slow Gmail plugin.
I’ve now experienced this issue across several different computers and browsers.
A further example of the issue: searching for a project so that I can assign my new task to a project takes about 20 seconds to even return results.
